A new roof for Raukokare Anglican Church

The Anglican Church of Raukokare Restoration and Preservation Trust with help from the Lion Foundation were able to re-roof the Church.
A recent feasibility study of the church concluded the roof was not structurally sound. The future of the category 1 Historic Building was in doubt so the Trust approached The Lion Foundation and was awarded $35,000.
The community rallied together and raised an additional $31,785 towards the project.
